Hi guys. Was with a driver on a PB based E40D the other day and while we were sat at terminus, we decided to have a look through the display and found 934/5/6 (I don't think 937 is on PB blinds yet). We decided to have a look through the options and found "934E Aston Six Ways" on the blinds. Does anyone know why this is on there? The 934/5/6/7 don't even stop at Aston Six Ways!

Perhaps not, but that would provide a sensible finishing point to send a vehicle empty to shed via Witton Road and Aston Lane.
Don't you start.

@Jack6101 860 has not been anywhere near Dudley since it left garage at 6:06 exactly

That clears it up nicely, then.

I suspect it's only for PB if they are called to operate on the route. Although if it is on WA, I'd suspect it is for late running services. If they terminate at Aston Six Ways, they can just turn around on the island and go back over the Flyover avoiding City. Probably the easiest place to turn around too.

@Dylanbusboy45

1841 on the 10 and 4735 on the 7 are noteworthy. The rest are normal. The 301 does see at least 1 decker on some Saturdays

Busman Jamie

1767/4733 - WA7
4869 - WA6
4737 - WA51
4735 - WA X51/997
4236/4246 - PB Sutton Lines

4737 probably did the first X56 this morning which then goes on the 51. Always either a Trident Enviro 400 or an E40D.

Why on earth is an Walsall Enviro 400 on Walsall's only Enviro 400 route considered in the slightest bit noteworthy?

Michael's comment is also incorrect. Walsall do not differentiate in the slightest between unbranded 48xx and the 47xx buses.

Some of the 'rare workings' mentioned are just getting too silly

The 10 running boards say that should be enviro but there's obviously not enough to go around

I was on about the X56 run being a Trident Enviro or E40D. For the past few weeks it has been a Trident Enviro which then does the 51 all day.

And that is pure chance as Walsall do not differentiate. NXWM do not recoginse Trident Enviros and E40Ds as anything different.

4737 was not on the X56 this morning, it was on 51-08 which does a 41 first which is why it is an unbranded bus.
4736 has also been on the 51 all day on 51-07 which is the board that does the X56 and again will be an unbranded bus which is why it stands more chance of being a 47xx, but is just as likely to be 4869 or 4870
