1477 looks withdrawn parked next to dead B6s for a week now

Yes, Tony explained why 1477 has had to be withdrawn. See the post link below from the West Bromwich Garage thread on 2nd October.

Any ideas why I saw 244 come down Lakefield Rd then continue down Lichfield Rd towards Bloxwich displaying '302-Walsall Via Bloxwich'?

If it was around 0830ish this morning, then it would be operating board 336/01 (it has been mentioned on another topic that 244 is on the 335/6 today).

This operates the 700 school service to Grace Academy Darlaston before running dead to Lower Farm to operate a single 302 journey into Walsall (0854 ex Lower Farm). This then goes onto the 336 upon arrival into Walsall before turning into the 335 in the evening peak.

Presumably from Grace Academy it continued along past Thomas More, onto the Moseley Road/Nechells Road through Wednesfield to join the Lichfield Road all the way to Lower Farm.

Yes it was. Cheers for that Notepanel

4684 has lost it's X51 branding

Kevin

X51 I got home today (believe it was 4776, forgot, wasn't really paying too much attention) had a piece of paper in the drivers cab window stating to passengers that "this bus doesn't stop in Newtown"... I love the fact that to this day people still try to get on/off there.
Spoke to the driver about it asking how many years of the X51 existing they still feel the need to advertise this, and his smart arse response was since the 60s when Midland Red had an service that didn't set down before / set down after Scott Arms, I wasn't personally counting them days but fair point lol
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Don't the other Walsall depot limited stop services 934, 935, 936 & 997 stop at the Bartons Arms, besides the 51?

If the X51 is supposed to interwork with the 997 in future,  hope the driver remembers which route he's doing!

No they don't stop at the Barton Arms. All apart from the X51 stop at St. Stephens Street stop by Royal Mail, the next stop after
