I caught Enviro 200's 842 & 843 travelling along the Ring Road heading towards NX Coventry garage today (Sunday around 4.15pm) presumably the first of the new arrivals [unless one or both of 841/4 have already arrived].

I'd expect to see the majority of them out tomorrow with the extra PVR starting. The line of breakdowns at the back of the garage have been cleared in preparation for the new school year as well. Tomorrow will be an interesting day.

Some new information regarding Coventry services 2, 3 and 23.....
(source)
I am pleased to let you know that we are planning to improve the frequency of the 23 service, starting from the end of October.
We will be linking the route with the current services 2 and 3 which serve Cheylesmore / Fenside to create routes 23 & 23A.
This provides an additional cross city route and we will be operating the service with modern single deck vehicles identical to the ones currently on the 2 and 3.
The basic daytime frequency will be improved from every 15 minutes to every 10 minutes.

This will be happening from the 23rd of October 2016 according to TfWM
Refer to Page 14.

the service 2/3 and 23 were combined before with terrible results, i guess this means the service to fenside will now always be late due to the traffic issues on the holyhead road in peak times

6020 on the 4

As nobody else has commented on this, have I missed something, or is this just ironic?  ;)
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

It hasn't been out since October 2015. That is how it has become Noteworthy.

Yes, most of the noteworthy working listed have happened several times since 6020 was last on the 4!

Haha, now I see, an ironic noteworthy working!  8)

Well I disagree with that, the 2012-13 version of service 2 was good performer in contrast to the 3 and 3A which was absolutely terrible in comparison.
I suppose peoples opinions vary and can depend on their usual travel times.

Apparently the 23/23A City Centre timing point is going to be The Burges in both directions  :-\

JoNi

The 3/A was operated by B6s at the time which didn't help!
The best every daytime 7-8 minute integrated service to Cheylesmore on services 2, 3/A in 2012 looked wonderful on paper but the reality two buses every 15 minutes.
The meal relief point on 23/A will presumably be in the Burges, in both directions!
