So service 10 joins the routes which avoid Far Gosford Street, assisting timekeeping will be cited I suppose and on that basis service 13 deserves to come next.
The 8 & 9 in theory should have remained going through FGS but no, that was first choice due to it's competitor, NX are obviously hoping DeCourcey will eventually make significant cutbacks and if the time comes I expect they will swap back the 8 and 9 with the 13.

The loss of service in Everdon Road has been reversed until a review in September. Therefore the 5 service will continue to serve here.

Meanwhile, 4689 has joined the "noisy club"

Interesting, I wonder if TFWM's initial decision to remove the service was based upon recent passenger statistics which possibly didn't take into account the recent closure(s) of Everdon Rd for several weeks.

4220 has got a new rear destination blind. It is orange matrix so no more "0" stuck on the back! It is on the 10 today.

Something has happened to 2172. Exactly what is unknown can someone shed some light on this?

Looks like a very large scrape to me! Either that or someone stuck out a large paintbrush while it was passing, can't really tell from the picture!
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Not sure if this is the right thread. But the bus stop/shelter erected directly opposite the Old Fire Station - has it seen any use yet? Are NXC planning (or any other operator) to stop here?

Looking at this: http://planning.coventry.gov.uk/portal/servlets/ApplicationSearchServlet?PKID=778649

Outdoor Advertising company Clear Channel have applied to install/embed an advertising panel into that shelter - logically enough as per the nearby stop on Hales St and others on Trinity Street and so on. But, bizarrely the application has been turned down by the planning dept of the council; "The proposal is considered unacceptable, as it would fail to preserve or enhance the character and appearance of the Conservation Area" (That dismal square and ugly Sainbury's form part of an Conservation Area! Who knew!). The council obviously have forgotten about the previous pair of Adshel shelters that stood at the same location for years with ads [which presumably they gave permission for].

2/3 - 2174, 4842 (21 branded)

A Trident (or B7TL) also appeared on the 2, the 16:22 from City (seemingly), it caught up with previous 2 (871), the 3 in between them nowhere to been seen.
A 12/24 min summer frequency would have been far better than this rubbish reliability.
