What's the vehicle allocation for the 18/A?

It had all sorts last time I was down there

JoNi

18/A - 2 doubles, 3 singles, 1 single in peak

Sh4318

Thanks @JoNi, @Matt I got 4454 on the 18A. Coventry allocations seem to be random where double deck routes are concerned
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
Local Routes: 21, 89, 48/A, 12/A, 54/A
Semi-local routes: 80, 87

Unlikely to be 4424! 4424 is one of the most reliable buses in the fleet! It was (hopefully) 4224!

It was 4424
Do you know what caused the breakdown?

Stuharris 6360

Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Valandil

Towards Coventry, the 11 and 12 will run through the campus loop in the opposite direction (anti-clockwise) from Monday 30th, with changes to stopping places.
There will be some small changes again when the mini bus station is finished this autumn.

How come they specifically picked 1655 for what I think is a too early withdrawal?

No merc withdrawal is too early at the moment

Have you ever travelled on 1655? If you have then you don't need to ask that question! It was by far the worst Merc in Coventry! It was awfully rattly, loud and slipped gears and could barely get above 30mph!

It was also an unrefurbished example. A lot of the poorer mark 2s have been withdrawn recently.

There will be some more later Mercs withdrawn soon in the shape of WN examples

So NX should spend a fortune when a bus has a major componant failure, just to keep it in service for a couple of months?

I have noticed this week that 4689 no longer has the cooling fan stuck on full blast! The cooling fan was full blast constantly from December last year until some time this week, but I first heard today and it is back to quiet! Does this mean nxc are sorting out the loud cooling fan issue on all their b7tls?
Although 4695 still has it stuck on at the minute!
