10 x Gemini's haven't left NXC, only 4!

Assume vehicle requirement will increase with university term restarting in a couple of weeks.

Exactly @900 there is no point sending all the replacement vehicles over straight away is there? Use your brain!

Logically, before the last Gemini's leaves, 4830 - 4842 will be repainted with 840 and the other 5 buses (Which I know about) being "Paint cover".

One of the probable reasons there was a need for additional buses is an extra bus has been put on the 20 route.
841/2/4 on 5 today and 843/5 on 2/3.

4696 has joined the noisy club.

Received reply from NX regarding putting up poster on buses re poor summer service on routes 2/3. Apparently it is not company policy to apologise to customers unless they write in!

Tony

840 appears to be in service at Coventry already, currently heading down Anstey Road from Cross Point Business Park

New 23/23A timetable now on traveline...
Existing city centre stops will be utilised (except FX2 and Pool Meadow) well up until the bus veers off towards Allesley Park (in the eyes of existing 2/3 users), so a bit awkward for some users travelling between Cheylesmore/Fenside and City, for example users can no longer travel from Fenside to the Queen Victoria Road area unless they change bus or enjoy walking. Also not very handy for Allesley Park users who want to change for another service in Pool Meadow.
This all ties in with the removal of stand FX2 soon due to further phases of council public realm pavement widening tosh!
Lastly, the Sunday 0928 service 23 from Allesley Park is meant to be a 23A is it not?

Quite why the 2/3 couldn't be extended to Allesley Park as the bus stop flags would then only need to be changed at that end of the route instead of along the whole route! A classic example of wasting money in supposed straightened times!

2169 has a different Ultimate destination font similar to Platinum resulting in Bedworth being narrower than "via Foleshill".
