Spotted this morning at 8.55 in Cotteridge was a 45E heading in the Birmingham direction displaying 45E Selly Park - Dogpool Lane.

Never spotted that one before.

CL

Today in the morning, where all the Harborne Services were late due to roadworks, there were 2 24's which showed up.

One of which was the 24E, which read:

Tesco Store  24E, then alternated to

Quinton
Ridgacre Road  24E

Should say Quinton Bus Garage 24E ;)

This is how the displays looked, changed and alternated.

Possibly not a short or untimetabled working, but a 4 to 'Delves' came into West Brom yesterday, not seen that before.

I have seen this one once before, when the 404 was at West Brom.

It Terminates at Walstead Road, where the 405 crosses the 404 route. I don't think it is timetabled, as I have not seen it since, maybe there was a lot of traffic in Walsall, or the bus was running late

On that same day, I also saw this 404E to Stone Cross. I have never seen a Stone Cross working in the day before

Obviously all the numbers have changed now!

4351 left as an 141E to Five Ways from Merry Hill

Maybe because the 141 was two buses late this morning. (Both the 10.15 and 10.45 from Birmingham did not turn up this morning)

And the award for the worst looking NXWM bus goes too.....

And from the looks of it the passengers boarding seem a little confused about the whole thing as well

The worst of the lot of these wrap livery buses is 4259. If you see it from the passenger side behind the doors, the lot of it has come away, so you can see the stripes on the TWM low floor livery where the vinyl has come away

I was just about to post that but I forgot the fleet number. That is a serious state! If that was Wmpte I'm sure it wouldn't of been allowed on the road.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

YW 18 is running all over the place this morning, 4 in convoy heading towards Yardley at about 9 4375 terminated as a 18E in Northfield, any ideas where this would have turned round?

CL

I saw a 29E to Weoley Castle at around 15.51? I couldn't see the display...

You think thats bad, try 7 Bristol Road buses running all together at 1800~ this evening. Took me 3hours to get home. I'm hlad I weren't driving!!! Would've blew a fuse haha

Serious E workings this evening, all over the place. Selly Oak, Pebble Mill, Northfield, Longbridge, pah!

And that 18 would've turned at further down Bristol Road South at the cut out to re-serve Northfield, or left Great Stone Road, and straight down, normal line of route, to save time on the return journey. Did you see it again in Northfield?

I remember a few weeks ago a 45E from City to Lee Bank Middleway, a 50 short to Bull Ring Markets, a 50 short to Bradford Street/Alcester Road and quite a few 50 shorts to Maypole, Alcester Lanes End and Kings Heath all in one day
