What about buses that aren't so good with words?  ;)

The legend!  Fantastic riposte sir!
Don't you start.

I note (in Tony's latest updates) that withdrawn 4107 has been sold to PVS for scrap. I guess this counts as the first non-accident related President withdrawal & scrapping.

I think after Tony's recent updates - only one Optare Spectre is still left (4010) unless that one has gone too? And only 2 Volvo B6's left; 600/649 I believe. It seems there are a few other types hanging on [albeit withdrawn] 1504/7 at PE/MS, 3612, 7086 & 9955 at MS plus fire damaged 4355 at MS and accident-damaged 4520 at YW I assume too.

The last Spectra, 4010, left on Monday, donated to Gilberstone Primary School, Birmingham

When you say they've been donated, what purpose do they serve within the school? Are they used as a classroom or have they basically been turned into monkey bars? I'm referring to both the Merc and the Spectra

The Spectra is going to be the school library I believe

Tony, has ex-Trainer 9955 gone too? Someone on Facebook stated it had gone to PVS for scrap.

Has anyone a list of Mercs and B10L (1401-1480) left. There can't be too much I would guess.

I believe one Mercedes Benz rigid remains along with a couple, maybe more,of the Volvo B10L's. Tony can advise of exactly how many Volvos remain.
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

From my own notes I have the following vehicles as withdrawn/in reserve:

687(PE) [1]

1421(MS)/1427(PE)/1436(WA?)/1447(MS)/1449(MS)/1461(MS)/1475(WA?)/1480(MS) [8]

1507(MS) [1]

1546(PE)/1549(PE)/1550(PE)/1573(PE)/1585(PE)/1589(PE)/1605(PE)/1636(PE)/1639(PE)/1646(PE?)/1647(PE)/1653(PE)/1667(PE)/1696(PE) [14]

4031(MS)/4032(WA)/4033(WA?)/4035(WA)/4057(PE)/4063(MS)/4065(WA)/4068(WA)/4070(MS)/4072(WA)/4079(MS)/4083(PE)/4098(MS) [13]

4520(YW) [1]

6022(MS)/6023(MS)/6024(MS)/6025(MS)/6026(MS)/6027(MS)/6028(MS)/6029(MS)/6030(MS)/6031(MS)/6032(MS) [11]

9955(MS) [1] *reported sold to PVS for scrap 8/16

I might be being a bit optimistic with those Mercedes O405N's - sounds like quite a few more have gone. That's a round 50 buses, but I'd imagine its below that.

Yes, according to the recent list posted there are only 5 Mercs at Pensnett - however I had thought there were still some left at MS (though I may be wrong!) there are five withdrawn Plaxtons in Scotland presumably still at Dundee.

I'm assuming nine more O405N's have gone to their maker, unless they've been moved. 4700-5/7 are technically in reserve so could have been added to that list. In Dundee I only have 4110/16 as out of use.

@paulb1973 - the 5 Mercs left at PN are confirmed as 1550, 1573, 1589, 1647 & 1653. The lone B10L is 1427.
