More guesswork

Well 4007 is parked up with parts missing and a damaged windshield. 4020 is a guess since it's parked by 4007 and all the vehicles which I'm told are being scrapped.

4020 is likely to go to another operator and 4007 has been at Miller Street for a long time

tony, do you think any more spectras will see a new owner, or will the rest be on a one way journey?

Given that NX allowed Scotland's first low floor single decker to rot into a rusty wreck beyond saving (L3 LOW - 7114), I hope something can be done for R2 NEG (4002), Scotland'a first low floor double decker, or is it only english heritage that counts?

Well let's get the facts right.

7114 was going into service at Walsall until it was found to have arrived in the West Midlands with completely rotton frame.

4002 has already been sold to someone who will look after its future

Where it should be...

Well if anyone in Scotland had of wanted it, it would be up there

DavieDD2

Not that it spent enough time up here for anyone to appreciate it, NXWM had it back down south as soon as the publicity had dried up...

Pretty sure I remember someone saying 4002 was offered to Dundee museum but they didn't want it

thats correct Scottish museums weren't interested it's mentioned in one of threads some where , that decision I found to be very odd indeed. As Tony has mentioned it's in safe hands.

Spotted 4021 heading to walsall this morning?

Michael Bevan

Just gone past Miller Street. There's a Spectra parked with it's electrics on. I think it was 4020 but looks like some more are going today.
