Yes they did. It appears to have closed in 2015 along with a depot in Longton, maybe associated with the purchase of Arriva Wardle and returning to their Adderley Green base?

Was there any particular reason (non standard type etc) for why the N reg MCW bodied VRs were all taken out of service before 1986 and therefore not passing to WMT as I have seen many photos of these with other operators into the 1990s so they must have still been mechanically sound?

Attached is details of buses transferred to WMT, new to WMT and transferred to WMT Ltd on privatization from my records, along with vehicles withdrawn 10/86-12/91.

Love the history on that fleet change sheet from 1986. Reading the various comments did any 45/46** fleetlines run for WMT? Also, we're the 6300 etc fleetlines the 'p' reg ones as I know a few of them operated but only the r/s/t reg ones ran in the 1990s.

The following 4500, 4600 fleetlines ran for WMT:

Thought the original 865 was withdrawn in 1980, when the 'original ' Chaserider started, in favour of the 838?

865 was originally Dudley-Wednesbury-Walsall-Cannock-Stafford and with the 265 Dudley-Wednesbury-Walsall were joint Midland Red/ Walsall services until 3rd Dec 1973 when Midland Red services inside the West Midlands passed to WMPTE. The 865 passed to Midland Red now starting at Walsall and the 265 to WMPTE extended from Walsall to Hednesford via Cannock

The early history of Outer Circle was
The 10 Kings Heath to Kings Head via Cotteridge and Harborne was the first part of the Outer Circle to operate, starting on 8th Jan 1923.
The 11 started on 15th Jan 1923 as a route from Erdington to Acocks Green via Stechford
Extended on 14th May 1923 from Acocks Green to Moseley Village via Wake Green Road
Extended on 16th Jul 1923 from Erdington to Stockland Green via Reservoir Rd.
Extended on 12th Nov 1923 from Stockland Green to Perry Barr via Witton
Extended on 2nd Feb 1925 from Perry Barr to Kings Head via Winson Green. Outer Circle name introduced.
On 7th Apr 1926 the Outer Circle was completed when the 11 was extended from Kings Head to Acocks Green via the former 10 route to Kings Heath then via Billesley. The section from Acocks Green to Moseley Village passed to the 1 (City to Billesley La) route extended to Acocks Green as the 1A.

2187-2193 and 2334 are the ones I have seen so far.

Also there do not appear to be any histories for 2210, 2346, 2347 and 2353.

The allocations for 2278 show it going to reserve in Jan-1992 and being sold in Mar-2002. I am sure it was at PB from Sep-1997 until withdrawn in Mar-2002 and I think it was at WB in the mid 1990s?

Also you have buses moving from Coventry Rd to other depots in Oct-1986. I am sure that Coventry Rd closed a year earlier (25th Oct 1985).

2351, Paradise Circus, 3rd March 1990

The 529 is a nice use of the pre-WMPTE route numbers along that route. The joint Walsall and Wolverhampton trolleybus (bus after 1965) route was the 29. Wolverhampton also operated short journeys as far as Willenhall which was the 5.

Stagecoach Midlands 10032 KX12GXA is missing off the new fleetlist. Last tracked by Bustimes.org on 3 April.

It used to be split between PB and AG. It still got caught up traffic, buses still bunch together. Wouldn't make any difference.

It used to be that 11A was one garage and 11C the other - cannot remember which way round.
