Long standing agreement between Midland Red & Birmingham City Transport & thier successors had to be overcome to allow all buses to stop at the same stop on Bristol Rd.

Well, well, well, look who we have here.

Perhaps some of the drivers on here could share what sort of things they carry with them on their duty.  Are there certain things drivers need to carry?  Are there any things that drivers carry to make their job easier?  Please share!

At NX, there isn't exactly much you NEED to carry with you. Obviously, license and DQC card. Apart from that, you are required to carry a 'SpitKit' to be used in the situation of any bodily fluid being exchanged. Myself, I always used to carry a couple of snacks, a drink but also a couple of timetables of the routes I would be doing that day, to aid passengers as best a possible.

It'll be a fair bit of dead mileage from Hockley to Merry Hill/Kinver.

They run services dead to and from Wolverhampton and Walsall, so nothing major. Even more so in september with Stratford school services.

I would never use this forum to make political points I am not a member of any political party @Tony I fully agree Birmingham City Council is responsible for highways & infrastructure but they do not have direct influence on bus service provision in the West Midlands County I stand by my opinion the report you quoted is a vanity project for Cllr Zaffer & would have been more of relevance if the report had been produced in conjunction with The West Midlands Combined Authority as it stands it is of no relevance overall to the provision of bus services in the West Midlands County & very odd he didn't take part in a conference call discussing the future of buses in metropolitan areas with the Minister for Buses, the heads of TfWM TfGM TfL and most of the major operators yesterday I was also delighted to take part in as I say Cllr Zafeers & his report is of no consequence to those who are actually burdened with trying to save the bus industry from disaster. May I remind you support to keep our excellent West Midlands County bus network going thru the unfortunate circumstance we are living in comes from West Midlands Midlands Combined Authority and not Birmingham City Council.

Yet another false statment. Richard, you've made so many political comments over your two appearances on here. Get off man.

You never had the pleasure of using them for work purposes to Blythe Valey Business Park @Pat as for using them regularly good riddance to bad rubbish the current service operated by Landflight is first class compered to Johnson's pure cowboys from my experience.

Yet another example of Richard talking pure shite. Dare I ask, again, how has he been let back on this forum?

ive heard that 17 branded and a couple more scanias are going to AG and the rest are going to pb for 8A and 8C and 65/67 will become single deck using BY and PB scanias and 4799 upward will be going to bc and some 7 branded which will become unbranded so possibility 94 is moving to bc too so 55/94 can interwork using double deckers and 6701-6711 will be moving to bc too because X12 is moving to bc and X1 and X2 are going no where.

All that above is what I have heard

In all honesty, nothing I've seen on said persons Instagram story has actually been factually correct. Wouldn't surprise me if this also isn't just to stir the pot.

The same person also slates bus drivers (Despite not being able to drive a bus themself), states that drivers exceed speed limits by quite some way (Despite being tracked by the company), posting pictures of vehicles involved in RTCs (Breaking company policy), has publicly slated a member of NX Staff.

The drivers drive the vehicles? I'd understand if everyone was stating driver names but nobody has!

You're missing the point. You catch THE BUS. You take a photo of THE BUS... not the driver. What routes the driver does is irrelevant unless you're personal friends with them.

But there's comments about where drivers change over and have breaks etc. It's weird.

Agreed

Are all the via point that are mentioned on page 1  and some on page 2 for both directions?

I really don't get what you're trying to achieve.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the fact that the electrics doesn't have traditional side mirrors?

What do you not like about them?

Changes to services on Colmore Row.
101/25/10 are moving onto the old Dudley Road stop.
Dudley Road routes are moving down Colmore Row and will stop at the bottom stop with the 126.
23/24 moving to a new stop on Colmore Row and 52 moving to a new stop on Livery Street.

Up Colmore Row, with it being the first stop.

The metro killed the 979 not the 79

Still had a major impact on the 79. Hence it no longer running through to Birmingham.
