08:05 Edinburgh Waverley to Plymouth returns as 17:24 Plymouth to Leeds (13:12 and 21:03 from Birmingham New Street)

With all these plans to reintroduce the east part of the Camp Hill line, where about would the new Castle Bromwich station be and where was the old one?

Logic would dictate it would be where the Chester Road crosses... Pretty sure that's where it would have been before because the layout of the 4 tracks seems to suggest there were 2 island platforms around there. I do feel with it's location right on the Chester Road and J5 on the M6 that it kinda needs to be a parkway station with thousands of parking spaces, and so traffic round there is going to get even more horrendous than it already is

Yes it was on Chester Road, had a magnificent booking office on the bridge there. There were two Island platforms, but the outer edges were not used as they were the goods lines.
