Does anyone know which passenger trains are scheduled to use the Camp Hill Line through to Kings Norton?  Hoping to go for a ride on it some time soon.

Stu

I regularly see Crosscountry trains on the Camp Hill line passing over the bridge over the Stratford Road near Camp Hill Island, but I can't be more specific regarding journey times and services sorry, maybe thats a place to start though.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

I think certain CrossCountry Service's from Manchester Piccadilly to Devon/Cornwall use that line I went to Newquay in 2010 by Train and I used CrossCountry because they operated a Manchester to Newquay Journey (still runs today) only in the Summer on Saturdays (only 1 Journey on Saturday) and that working uses the Camp Hill Line :)
60 Birmingham - Cranes Park
72/72A Solihull Station - Chelmsley Wood
73 Solihull - Heartlands Hospital
X1 Birmingham - Coventry
X2 Birmingham - Solihull Station
A10 Solihull - Cranes Park / Chelmsley Wood

Generally the xx42 from New Street to Bristol Temple Meads will use the Camp Hill line to Kings Norton.  Regularly arrive into New Street on the train that will form the 17:42 to Bristol Temple Meads, and it uses platform 2 or 3 at New Street so must use the Camp Hill line to head south, as you can't access Gloucester tunnel from such a low numbered platform.  If it is departing from platforms 1-4 then it should be going via Camp Hill.  First stop will be Cheltenham Spa though...

SO 1M07 1554 Worcester Shrub Hill to Birmingham New Street LM goes via Camp Hill Line

(the unit then does 1V21 via University to Hereford then 2C71 via Moor Street to Dorridge then 2V58 to Great Malvern then 5V58 via Malvern Wells to Worcester L.M.D.)

That's brilliant. Thank you everyone.  Me and a friend might take a trip to Cheltenham as an excuse to travel along the camp hill line.  :-)

Do any cross country trains use the camp hill line on the return?

Think the other extra saturday LM services through Bromsgrove (16:19, 17:19 ex new street, 10:13, 11:15 ex bromsgrove) go via camp hill, not 100% on it but there's every possibility because they're also not booked to call at University.
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....
