I've driven that one. Yeah the cab rattled a lot. It drove me mad. I made up a fault to get it swapped for a Gemini once lol.
Yeh the cab door rattled a lot. The rear upper deck seats wouldn't stop shaking and rattling when it was stationary, a lot of people thought it would explode lol

Worse than the Plaxtons. The one I saw anyway. I didn't get the fleet number.

On the other hand, there's a prestine looking 4500 on the 37. Must be a recent one. 4506 is also on the 37.

It will be one of 4226 or 4233, both will go in for quicky repaints as soon as all the transfers are sorted

Will 4253 get a quick repaint?

All the B7s with connection bars will

cardew

And hopefully if there are any badly worn/faded original seats they will get replaced as well. After all, the passengers on the 1 have recently been used to regular fancy platinums - albiet temporarily

Don't worry, Dundee will soldier on with our 10 17 year old Presidents and 18 13 year old Geminis, bring back the Ailsa, they lasted 18 years!

I'm sure you guys got the better Plaxtons sent up to you. Those 10 you've got are in better nick than some of these 42xx ALX400s.

The 46XX Gemini and 7001 - 7010 have all been repainted and refurbished in the past 2 years, so those Gemini should be in no worse state than our Gemini at Acocks Green and Perry Barr. Its just 7011 - 7018 that haven't been repainted and refurbished.

Shouldn't take long to sort out the transfers, basically a few fleet names and a bunch of number stickers.  These should all be in the paintshop stores  8)
Don't you start.

Looking at the photos of both buses, it looks like it was 4226. I don't know if its a scrape or rust, but it had whatever it is that's underneath the offside NXWM logo on the bus.

Blimey, that photo of 4226 is taken in 2014, and it was a state back then!

I think its surface rust? Not sure. Yeh a few PB's ALX400's had that before repaint, 4285, 4289.
Lol 4226 was my favourite WB ALX400.

Aluminium doesn't rust

Saw 1925 earlier in Newtown. Heading for PB most likely.

So are YW losing all their Scanias? Seems that way doesn't it?

That's 37 single decks. I can't see them getting 37 E200s from AG. If they get at least 2231-2250, that's 20. Will something be converted to double deck I wonder?

I'm sure the mystery will be solved as we'll probably find out tomorrow
