I didn't think it was as clean cut as x amount per scan. I thought it was a lot more complicated process and can actually vary by operator.

Thought nBus was worked out by the number sold overall and revenue was apportioned by the percentage of services operated? Concessions are definitely not £1 per scan of a card, they are worked out on an average fare basis so all operators will be different.

It's a like for like replacement for the X12 up to Hill Hook isn't it? or is there a change of route?

Exactly the same route as the X12 was between Lichfield and Sutton.

Would it be more worth running the 146 as per the current 145 and terminate in the outer suburbs of Brum?

Yes, would make sense probably to terminate it at Kings Norton Station, for either 45/47 or train.

Regularly see the 06:30 bus through Cotteridge, think the maximum I have ever seen on that bus is 5? Only time the 146 is busy is when the Cross City has broken, so hardly a surprise they are cutting 'commuter' journeys as barely any commuters use them.

Anyone know how much a child single is on the 110 from Birmingham to Fazeley

Either £2.50 or £2.60 depending on which stop you are getting off at.

Also remember that just becuase they have just turned 65 this doesn't automatically qualify you for a bus pass just yet, they need to check their date of birth.  For example if they were 65 on the 10th April 2019 then they qualify for a bus pass on the 6th November this year.  It is all worked out on state pension age, use the following tool to check for when they are eligible for a pass.

Just seen 6917 leaving Colmore Row on the 13B. Being followed by 4239 on the 13, talk about it one extreme to the other.

Ah, Acocks Green too! One truly does learn something new every day.

One day I will get around to reading about all the boundaries in my hometown...

At the crossroads in Bearwood by the Bear pub one of the roads is named Three Shires Oak Road which I believe is where the historical counties of Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Staffordshire used to all border onto.
