Most illusive Buses

I think it's been pointed out many times that some buses are hard to find>

Me personally im struggling to find 4144 4149 4366 and 4390 to give me a full set of travelled on BC Tridents.

Is it something anybody else notices?

Yes, I have noticed that as well. It's just down to luck of where you are on a certain day, and where the buses you are looking for are!!

I really want to find 4141, as no-one has seen it since repaint in July.
Another one is Wolverhampton's 4587, which is the very last Trident that I need to photo.

those are the 2 most illusive ones to me.

Don't I know it. Have been travelling to Walsall a couple of times a week for several months looking for 1477 & 1780 (both XDA regs) then on Thursday spotted 1477 in Bradford Place. On Friday spotted it again in Walsall bus station, then on its next trip into the bus station it's only parked alongside 1780.  :)

I don't want to appear too pedantic but surely illusive (if there is such a word) would mean lit up.

ive seen 4609 on either 256 or 126 this week, together with 4565 both of them newly refurbed.

When 4262 transfered to PB it took me a year to find it, then it seemed to follow me everywhere.

First time I saw 4609 after its repaint was Friday.

Not too special, about 3 weeks, but before the repaint I was on it about 3 times a week.

PB4261, BC4141, YW4372 and WN4565 are my most embarrassing for sure.

At least I'm not the only one looking for 4141!! I have seen 4372 quite a bit since it's repaint. I don't see 4261 often, but the most illusive ALX at Perry Barr is 4302. only seen it the once since repaint.

Ah, the Sutton Lines (Dundee Extension) quintet.  They seem to appear with some regularity on the 71A, the all-over advert specimen was on the 65 on Thursday. 

Another few I don't believe actually exist are WA244, WB676 and BY1801.

Oh LOL, the less said about that the better, then!  676 still showing as WB elsewhere on the site, guess the withdrawal notes haven't caught up yet.  Not seen PE508 or WA516 this year either...
