Unrepainted vehicles

I notice Tony's picture of 682. It's presumably never been repainted, as it's in the first version of low floor livery with the red and blue diagonals placed centrally. This livery changed at the end of 1999 to the more upright diagonals just behind the door. I think some Mercs have never been into the paint shop either. Have any B6s or Mercs been withdrawn without ever being repainted? Over 12 years old, too!

Also Mercs 1615 & 1645 still in service at PE have never been repainted since new

1524 and 1590 are two withdrawn Mercs which never had a full repaint (they may have had touch ups to remove old route branding though).

Also 666.

1539 when debranded from the 404 was in perfect condition and looked very smart still in the old livery from new and even retained it's old black fleetnumbers above the door which i believe it still has

The buses I know to still be in original low floor livery that are  withdrawn and stored or active are

Excel L1070 - 691,695,698,701,702,712,713,716,717 and 718, these have just had minor adjustments to the original paintwork over the years.
Volvo B6LE - 576,578,635,648,653 and 682
Merc - 1524,1530,1539,1584,1587,1590,1615,1617,1619,1624,1645,1652 and 1672

Most of the unpainted mercs are either at West Brom or are former West Brom buses

On the topic of Mercs, 1633 and 1647 at Pensnett have had new seat covers throughout, presuming this is a recent touch to save money on repaints aswell

To be fair, at least the ex 51 Tridents were done in 2006, there are many double deckers at other garages that have never been internally refurbished at all since being new

We'd take buses refurbed in 06 on central routes!!!
