Yep they are rubbish, noisy as hell and vile.  The minute a bit of power is required they over rev horrendously and scream! Vile. Do u reckon Deckers are a possibility for swapping with the Volvos? I dont mind them tbh but a few years at Cannock with their crap maintanence has taken its toll

Perhaps it could be deckers bob, I can't think what welse could transfer in apart from the rest of the commanders or the 39** volvos (awful buses) or maybe the 09 optare solos will transfer lol

This is my opinion at first I thought they were vdl but after travelling on them there not, in my eyes there just a modern version of the V/DBC volvos

Ohhh they must have ZF boxes then, Volvos sound quite nice with a voith ( unlike vdl's!!) they dont  have that horrid tired drony engine noise

If ever you travel to leicester, go on the 158 from Nuneaton this is what there used on, horrible to travel on for over an hour and I wish cannock would do something with 3/10 it looks in a right state has done for months

Lol ill take your word for it, Cannock V-DBC's used to be the regular buses on the 158

Does anyone know if the DBCs definately are going from Cannock yet? And now the 5 years are up whether the Stafford branded VDLs are definately on their way out as well?

I'd sooner see the staffords stay and refurbed for the 1's as the uses 5 buses now and see 3701-3704 leave cannock

3701-4 need something doing with them, definately an interior refurb their in a right tatty state now! Dont think theres much chance of them leaving Cannock though to be honest
