Anymore news on the V-DBCs coming back to Leicester? And the 5 stafford branded Vdl's? know whatll be happening to them?

Haven't heard anything on the V-DBC's so we will wait and see first. at the moment local talk is about all the ALX400's going from Wigston to Thurmaston and then Wigston gaining another three VLW's, which do seem to be doing quite well and seem popular with the passengers.

As for the 5 VDL's what are their fleet numbers? I wish to look them up. cheers.

So if shrewsbury are having the centro's and the V-DBC's are heading to leicester, can only mean that 2345, 2346, 2348 & 2353 S345/346/348 and S353 YOG are heading to cannock..... You know how cannock love a good old dart or 2!!! NOT!!

commanders 3705, 3706, 3707, 3709 are now in service at thurmaston.

one ALX 400 is at Wednesfield??? forgot which one... also in service.

3705 has a poorly desti display and has been like this for about a week on my sightings.

2261 is still the only refurbished Denis Midi Dart at Wigston.

3 more VLW's are expected at Wigston Depot to allow the transfer of 3 ALX 400's to Thurmaston.

The alx400 at wednesfield is 4778 S251JUA, it has 'Midland' stickers attatched to it normaly used on 19's Bloxwich-Walsall

Jesus i hope those Darts arent headed for Cannock!!! Are they still set to lose their 5 Stafford branded SB200s? Theyd have been better for the 64/164 with their high backed seats. Never understood why they split the route, X64 sounded much better

Don't no much about shrewsbury as I'm from cannock, all I do know is they've proberbly got a better set of buses than what cannock have and quite amazed as today I visited leicester and saw that 2355, 2356 and 2358 were all still going as 2214, 2215, 2216, 2357 have all gone from this batch

I did hear from an arriva driver that the 74's were gona have deckers, the 75 was going to be a Cannock - Penkridge service and that the 5 staffords were going to another garrage but didn't know wich garrage

Wonder when thats gonna happen... I reckon the 5 sb200s would be great resprayed an used for the 1, and would be mint for an X31 style route if they ever bring in another Cannock to Birmingham service

Agreed bob, would be good for the 1's as 3701-3704 are worn out and knackered now and I've noticed a lot recently that there's the odd 1 or 2 odd bus turn up on staffords, the other day I noticed 3612 on there and the centros seem to be on quite a lot now.... And do you know where 3719 is? Haven't seen it in cannock and today in leicester I saw 3720, 3721, 3723, and 3726
