Hill Top Garage

I did not see that coming but it does make sense as Hilltop is only a small outstation.  It is probably more cost effective to run it from wednesfield

Now that the Hill Top garage will become free maybe it would have been a candidate for the outstation of West Bromwich garage to move to and store buses and operate them from there. A mad suggestion but not far from West Bromwich garage.

Not that mad at all, but from what Tony has posted about work being carried out at the current Oak Road outstation, it suggests that is now staying open?

Not surprised they're closing it though I was under the impression they were going to transfer the fleet to Wednesfield..... well that's what one of the drivers told me last week.
We'll get rid of your bus to Wolves and replace it with one to Walsall instead.......... Oh the joy of a Network Review. -_-

If the enviro's go to Thurmaston, its a possibility that the rest of the Y/YBC mpd's could go to wednesfield

Apparently Wednesfield will be having a load more London EX Darts, they are currently sitting at a scarp yard in London somewhere and will be given a re-furb, but according to other post the're already breaking down.

I'm not surprised that Arriva are bringing in more ex London stock to replace the existing Midland fleet, but I am a little surprised that Arriva are already planning on moving nearly out new vehicles out to another area, doesn't bode well.

So a load of clapped out rattling ex London sheds with nice new seats then, and presumably theyll be MPD versions like the others. Bit of a poor show.

I suspect these are some of the ones that are being refurbished at Hants & Dorset trim

How indeed with 10 year old Darts? Against 15 year old B6s, Spectras, Exels and B10s, 14 year old Mercs and B7 deckers, 13 year old Darts, 12 year old Tridents, 11 year old B7 ALXs etc etc etc and then there's the Diamond fleet.....

Yes but theyre 29 seater midi buses!! It would suggest there aint much expansion planned. Plus Darts are shit buses from a passenger point of view. Mercs/B10s, Spectra's Tridents etc are proper buses NOT vehicles that were intended as Minibus replacements!

Think I will rename my topic Arriva Cannock the Second Insted of Wednesfield as will be full of shit and retract the comments of giving them a chance typical Arriva logic get rid of new buses and replace with shit.  As shown Arriva are polishing a turd and will fail simple.  They will not make money with 10 yr old plus refurbed buses even if they are from London and not been thrashed (possibly) being in slow traffic.  NXWM will destroy them.
