Lots of interesting and unusual workings in Worcester today. At least two tridents were on the Malvern services which is very rare, a street deck spent the day on the local 30 service, the village links small optare was on the 35 with 53062 on the 417 service. There was also a Volvo centro on the full 144 all day. Definitely a day for the cameras!!

@j789 I read on the Midland Red forum that there have been a number of deckers on the X50 lately. Do you know if this still the case?

Funny you say that as I missed another working as 33404 (the Midland Red liveried one) was seen with x50 on its reverse when I came into the bus station doing a 32. Now the Tridents can't be used on the 144, there are more opportunities for use on other routes, mainly 30/32/37 and 144a but they are fine on the x50 too so likely to appear especially during the school holidays.

I've also heard it's not uncommon to get a decker on the 418, this came from the villagers themselves but just wanted to check.

Yes I think it is for the farm workers as the service can get very busy at certain times in the summer.

Lawrence Hill based 48/49 branded E400MMC made an extremely rare appearance on the Weston based X3 service yesterday after one of their 56 plate E400s sprung a leak. It only did the 1 round trip and I believe it was 33799.

Not so much a "working", but there were 3x EG52 plate Caetano Mini Darts travelling North on the M5 (between J5 and J6) at around 17:30.

Yes, for further service. These have certainly been around the garages! They were nice buses to drive at Worcester, and very low milage for their age hence why I guess despite being 16 years old they are still going strong.

Glasgow has older Darts than those which are heading there now. Still a number of ex London Marshall bodied examples in that fleet.
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

Doesn't seem to be unusual anymore. One at least on there most days

They will be on there most day now I would assume as they are officially 'spare buses' ! , for all routes including the 144. This allows Streetlites to be freed up for other routes

Four of the 64 plate Streetlites were due to transfer to Leicester but not sure if this is still happening.
