Is there now quite a few more journies to/from Leamington on the new 11 route in the peaks? Looking at the new timetable it is now upto every 15 mins from there, I thought it was half hourly, or has it always been this way?

Justin Tyme

This improved service started in January, when the 12 was shortened in Leamington to terminate at the Parish Church - instead of following Stagecoach's Unibus services round the Old Town and Sydenham.

Before then you were right.  The Leamington journeys were half hourly during the daytime (generally including the peaks), hourly in the evenings and irregularly (usually every 80 minutes) on Sundays.

Would it be classed as a night bus becuase theres on 1 11X and that runs till 01:41 so does that mean that the 900 is a night bus becuase it runs upto 1:04am

No, its simply a daytime service that runs into the night, if these could be classed as night services they would be 24 hours a day.

There was an X17-branded Stagecoach vehicle heading up Earlsdon Avenue North this morning.
I can only imagine either the driver was hopelessly lost or they were weighing up what morning passenger numbers are like, to keep an eye out for opportunities in the market.
