Will 812-818 join WB later or are new to BC because there going to be staying for the foreseeable future. The enviro200's seem to be operating the 45 mainly saw at least 3 on their today. Just saw your comment about AG Tony maybe related to why the enviro200's are at BC at the moment instead of WB.

Can someone tell me how come WB have transferred all but 5 enviro200's to Birmingham Central ?

Most are back at WB now. There was a vehicle shortage at Acocks Green and Birmingham Central I read somewhere.

Travelling on 803 on the 98 at 10 o'clock the other morning the windows were so filthy you could hardly see out. The buses are grey and soleless inside admirably reflecting the culture of the company they belong to. Welcome to travel in 21st century Birmingham.

Edinburgh relaunched it's buses with a new livery a couple of years with an upgraded interior with warm coloured panels and seats featuring famous landmarks in the city in the moquette. Amazing what you can achieve with a bit of imagination.

Come on NXWM you can do better....

Will 2122 be going back to BC then soon

Should be if it hasn't already, 2153 is still with AG, it was out on the 37 this morning.

Yes Tony confirmed to me that AG Geminis were having their rear axles tested:

I got 814 on the 47A in Wednesbury last night and I have to say I think they're one of the best buses NX has bought in a while. Great looking exterior, clean and bright interiors and very quiet and comfortable on the move.

They're certainly grey but not soleless in my view. It's a light grey and it's offset nicely by the red hand rails and blue seats. I like it.

Got on my first WB E200 today, 822 on the 46. Etchings on the seats already, very nippy to West Brom, although the 46 has always been faster than the 444 was to West Brom

Problem is, better the interior, the more money the buses cost. Most people aren't on a bus that long, so the interior doesn't really bother them!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Gareth

The interior standard is perfectly adequate. They are just too dull, dark and bland

Typhoon2000

Why did they go for the 200 instead of the 300?

People - The life blood of a city.
Public transport - the veins it flows by.

Stu

Because the Enviro200 is a midi-bus, and NXWM wanted them to replace Volvo B6LEs, which are also midi-buses.

The Enviro300 is a full length single decker, in the same class as Scania Omnilink and Volvo B7RLE.
