One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Is there some sort of monitoring going on along the Hagley Road today? I passed at least 8 consecutive stops on my way into town which had someone in yellow hi vis and a clipboard standing in them making notes as buses went past.

This was happening again this afternoon.

There are about to be major road works at Bearwood Traffic lights so I would imaging traffic flow was being monitired

What road works are they doing??

How many of the boards are usually B7 operated (I presume these boards are the ones that go on to do 244's)

Popped to PE today, not much to report apart from 1515 which is still parked in the smae place in the dead box leaning badly to one side. Lets hope it isn't the end for 1515?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

JoNi

Sampled ALX400 on 246 today and travelled from Stourbridge with a couple of CHAVs. The bloke travelled with a dog on a refurbished seat to Brierley Hill.
They had a conversation which included 46 swear words and finished with it's been nice to speaking to you ::). She then listened to loud music to Dudley.
Safer Travel and all that!!

I've seen worse on the 246 lol

Ashley

Loud music is irritating rather than intimidating. And sadly the majority of peoples vocabulary these days consists of foul language. But why would it matter what seat they travel on? There are now surely more refurbished than unrefurbished vehicles in the fleet overall. Could have been worse like Matt says

Problem is they swear to make them sound 'hard'. - However, for swearing to be really effective, it has to come from the right angle. For instance; James May's 'Oh Cock'. Now thats funny.
