Popped to PE today, nothing much to report apart from 4202 in the dead box, presumably with a faulty destination display as it was showing NOT IN !

Is it true that Pensnett will receive some Presidents from WB ?
WB top parking yard is due to close and some routes will be transferred to PE

That was meant to be happening about this time last year with a new depot/outstation opening up at Keltruck Scania with the 16 & 101 also moving there from PB to relieve capacity issues. Obviously never happened!

At the moment, there is no spare capacity within the existing garage to take on any extra routes/increase the allocation, the bottom half of the extra adjacent land is full of reserve fleet vehicles & the top half is used for staff parking.

I doubt Presidents would go to PE now, it seems to be standardizing on Tridents

Saw one trident in the 276 showing not in service on Coppice Lane this morning yet it had some passengers on. Those roadworks have been causing chaos at rush hour and almost was gridlock around 8.30am so I imagine this has caused more lengthy delays to the 276 and 297.
