According to VOSA, all the PE Mercs are taxed to 1 Jan 2015, apart from 1525 and 1639 which are SORN
Yes but that is certainly no guarantee they will make it, as I presume as with car tax NXWM can cancel the tax at any time and get the money back for the months remaining

Have any PN Mercs not been taxed for 2014?

Most won't be I'm afraid

They better be, They'll be needed tomorrow

Ashley

1525 and 1639 are SORN. Is that VOSA's way of saying they're withdrawn?

Yes, with those now withdrawn, PE's Merc fleet now stands at 36.

It's going to be an eventful year

With all the new buses due this year, a large proportion of the first generation low floor buses will be removed from the NXWM fleet

Manor Way/Lane buses were on diversion today it appeared. 9's were using Kent Rd and Mucklow Hill.

Manor Way/Lane buses were on diversion today it appeared. 241's went straight down Mucklow Hill and 9's were using Kent Rd and Mucklow Hill.

This was due to the tree removal on Manor Lane - I advised the lady driver about it who contacted the garage. It only lasted around 15 minutes and no buses even used the diversion as far as I know - 4828 and 4812 on the 9 just waited until it reopened.

My bus (4818) followed the diversion down Muklow Hill. I did overhear the driver say in something to a passenger about a tree

What time was this? I think a call was sent out to follow the diversion for some time (the initial figure was 2 hours), even though it was cleared quickly.

Would have been between 14:30-14:40 as it did the 15:05 from Stourbridge.

Yeah, it was closed about 13:45 but the diversion had finished by the time I went back out an hour or so later.
