Has anybody seen the B7TLs on loan to PE from WB that work on the 140/241 in early mornings? Because they are frequent

Starts the day as a 140 to Birmingham and back then does the 9:23 241 from Dudley,10:05 from Halesowen, Then dead back to garage :) (It has a message on the running boards stating that only double deckers 4225-4717 can only be used on there. It does regually appear on the 74/5 later on in the day as i have seen many times :)

Not quite, it runs dead from WB to Blackheath, does a 140 journey to Dudley leaving Blackheath at 6:49, then the 7:18 140 to the city, then 8:20 140 back to Dudley, 9:23 241 to Halesowen, 10:05 241 to Dudley, arriving at 10:31 then running dead to the depot

I have seen it put almost straight onto a 74 at Dudley before - it depends what the garage want done with the bus.

That wouldnt be such a bad idea tbh, the WA B7RLE's have a fair bit more umph than the Eclipse 2's which would be handy for the hilly services, plus PN would keep them cleaner methinks

The rumours about the WA B7s have been floating around for absolutely ages. I really can't see it ever happening. The Merc replacements will most likely be more newer B7RLEs.

Word has it from a driver who was talking to a young kid on merry hill bus station  he said we're having walsalls b7 single deckers to get rid of all mercs at pensnett next year and Walsall having new buses  pmsl

And I would hope not, love the old Eclipses and prefer them in easy reach at Walsall, lol

4809 and 4829 both lost their megarears around the start of the week, took me by surprise when I got on 4809 and realised I could see through the back window
