4202 is back at PE, Just seen n parked in dead box!

I wonder if it has been having some mechanical work done over & above the usual refurb

Definitely,was parked in the dead box roughly where 1645 was parked when it was off the road for a while.

Paint finish is excellent, makes me suspect it not been to Walsall as it's been gone to long!

Unless it has been to Cummins for some engine work or to be carried out then painted at Walsall?

Very possible, think it was Tony that said that PE had sent it for work to be done as soon as it arrived. wasn't in need of urgent repaint as it was already in new livery, so other work must have been required!

Saw an E400 (couldn't ID but was one of the refurb'd ones) on the 140 this evening, then a B7RLE (I think 2097) on the 141. Apparently there was a B7RLE on the 9 as well today.

Correct, 2097 on 141 but went out of service, 2098 on 9 not sure where that is now and 4195 will be 22:15 241 from Dudley, 23:15 241 from Halesowen, 23:45 140E from Dudley.

N94, just to let you know, Enviro400s are on the 140 every day (not 241 though) on peaks up to the early evening

2096 was running about 40 minutes late on the 140/241 earlier this evening, back on time now though.

Also just seen 4826 displaying 9E to Five Ways!

E400s on the 140 - Thanks for explaining. I just remembered about the 9E changing to 140 at Quinton, I presume it would be that that I saw. It was about the right time. Just needed my memory refreshing (I've been off uni since Easter so haven't seen much of the Hagley Road at peak times (thankfully!))

I hope it was only a minor problem, i havent seen 4202 since december 2011 after its first repaint

It left dudley bus station under its own power after being parked out of service for around 10 mins

4193 was on the 2017 9 to City ex Halesowen.
