The routes where WBs darts operate cant accomidate B6LEs as has been pointed out in the past, 1537 was withdrawn a good while ago so dont know where you plucked that number from

Any news on 4200 and 4201, when are they moving down to the farm?

4200 is still at BC its out on the 60 today

Send 4609 (sorry Nathan) to BC, and an early BC Trident to PE.

Why? No offense but that makes even less sense than sending 4535-9 to PE

BC already have a long run of 46xx Tridents, and PE can extend their run of 41xx-42xx Tridents, rather than isolating 5 buses.

4201 was still on the Bristol Road on Saturday as well

510 is on the 243/4 today, on the 10:27, 13:27 and 16:27 244 departures from Dudley if anyone wants a possibly final ride on it :)

Been to PE.

4535 appears to have gone back to WN.

3 b6s are now parked on the back wall of the garage, plus one is being worked on inside the garage.

2 tridents are spare at garage today, 4195 is one of them.

a driver trainer ex gas bus 1512 is also at the garage.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

4535 is on the 255 today.  My guess is that the following happened.

The 0850 hrs 255 from Wolverhampton to Merry Hill broke down yesterday.  The duty bus was replaced by B6 620 with that bus entering service on the 1048 hrs from Wall Heath (Blaze Park) to Merry Hill.

My guess is that 4535 was the bus that broke down and was taken to the closest depot (Pensnett) for attention.

My original point still stands, about PN's B6s transferring to Wolverhampton, swapping with a few Tridents for partial double deck conversion of the 140/241

The 25/27/27A don't need Tridents, B6s are better suited, yes there is the issue of hills but if WN's B6s can cope on them then the likes of 581 and 582 could easily

Wouldn't tridents on the 140/241 count as downgrading the route by replacing 1 year old vehicles with 10-13 year old vehicles?

Liverpool Street

4201 still at Central.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

I would count it as upgrading with the extra passenger capacity. I'm sure most bus passengers don't care how old the bus is as long as it gets them to where they want to go. If the bus goes past them because it's full, then they can't get to where they want to go

4135 may have gone to PE because otherwise it would be the only Voith gearbox Trident at Wolverhampton.

Don't think so as 4565-4584 have Voith Gearboxes

4135 always was a bit of an odd one out at Wolverhampton though, at least now it can mingle with other Y-reg Tridents ;)
