As I said the better B6s from Pensnett might transfer to Wolverhampton swapping with say 4535-4539 for example. For the reasons I stated previously

Maybe. But why would PE need extra deckers. If they get more tridents they will probably transfer more from BC. Although i know you would love to have our tridents ;)

As I already explained to ensure the 246 is fully double deckers and to provide deckers for the 140/241 which very much need them (I should know!)

That memory of yours Matt.

Wait till your 63 you can just about remember your age haha

Memories better than mine!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Trident 4609

Our memory will become less and less in our ageing ;D

Interesting to see if PE do have any of our WN tridents!

It will be good to see a mixture of BC & WN Tridents at PE but as you said Nath they'll probably get more from BC :) If PE do get some from WN let's hope its none of the 46's
60 Birmingham - Cranes Park
72/72A Solihull Station - Chelmsley Wood
73 Solihull - Heartlands Hospital
X1 Birmingham - Coventry

4609 is going nowhere ;) ;D  Tbh i can't see anymore buses transfering between WN and PE. The remainder of the B6's wilk be withdrawn

Nope, as someone said (can't remember who), it looked like the B6s were getting ready to be moved.

Let's just wait and see, but my money is on 4135 not being the only Trident to move WN-PE ;)

Trident 4609

Plus maybe a couple more tridents to PE (4197,4200-02)

4202 is currently at Walsall paint shop

Trident 4609

Well lets wait and see matt ;) Remember about you saying WN tridents at PE at first and i said it would be BC tridents transfering. Can't really see a couple of WN's 53 plate tridents. As i said if PE have more tridents then they may come from BC yet again but it would certainly be interesting for ZF tridents to be at Pensnett

Well when 4197,4202 (Currently both either being repainted refurbed/Repainted) plus if 4200/01 transfer and with a couple of E400's as usual ,Will this fully convert the 246 to Double Deck operation.

Whats the PVR of the 246?

Thinks it's just a waiting game, what i saw today could just have been a coincidence and we are all speculating when there is nothing in it, only time will tell.

Only hope 581 & 582 don't get the chop as they seem in really good condition and to me would be a real asset to the WN or any fleet!!

Quite surprised they haven't transferred the whole block (4189 - 4202) to PE.

9 at the moment, 10 from September.

so 4193 - 4202 is 10 plus 4135, so should be plenty for the 246.

Plus the couple of E400's that are usually on there anyway as cover if a trident is not.avaliable/On another route with the odd B7RLE like at the moment which will more than likley end regular merc operation on the 246.

Really if you look at it is there a logical reason for a couple of WN 53/04 plate tridents to transfer to PE (And to end trident operation on the 25/27/27A isn't a logical explantion)

nitromatt1

My original point still stands, about PN's B6s transferring to Wolverhampton, swapping with a few Tridents for partial double deck conversion of the 140/241

The 25/27/27A don't need Tridents, B6s are better suited, yes there is the issue of hills but if WN's B6s can cope on them then the likes of 581 and 582 could easily

True Nathan, 4535 probably just wanted a drink, although they seemed to be looking at its height? Time will tell!
