I caught the 9 from Birmingham City Centre to Cradley and back this morning, 6933 & 6930.
I noticed neither had WiFi fitted yet or next stop announcements.
No internal platinum vinyls or internal route map either, given they haven't updated them on older vehicles such as the X1/2, and no other recent upgrades have them - 23/24, X20/21/22, etc are NX no longer putting these on the platinum buses. If so they could at least remove them where they are carrying outdated information on the older 2016 platinums.
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

2102 is on the 9 at the moment.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

B7rle on 9. Are these platty being allocated to 28 from start of the day? If so that's ridiculous

What you have to remember is that the 28 starts later than other services, the first journey on the short 28s is 08:03 from Merry Hill.

Therefore there is a chance that the service will have to use whatever is left on the garage after main run out. If the short E200s are having problems and with PN having at least 1 bus on loan today, it may have the case, Platinum or nothing.

Exactly!
4940 only arrived at the garage overnight, so may not have been ready for any of the earlier boards. 731 is in the garage today, so if that was allocated, but was found to have a defect then 4940 would be the only bus there.

Dom

The advantage of having them on the 28 aswell is that they are constantly between merry hill and Stourbridge, terminus points of the 9 and X10, so if a B7 or E200 is on one of these services and the times coincide a swap can take place easily.
