It was parked in the bays at Merry Hill Bus Station around 12.45pm ish with X96 on the front. It could have been a driver messing with displays, didn't  see it leave

Normal for a Sunday

Ok thanks, surely the 140 could be converted to double decker on Sunday's, I know it inter works with 241 and 244E

Doesn't need to. It's perfectly fine with B7's

Passenger loadings suggest otherwise

Perhaps people should sit on the seats instead of standing up when there's no need.......

Exactly, I catch if not see the 140 every Sunday and it's never overflowing to the point of requiring deckers. Personally I don't think they're needed during the week, I think the 140/241 could easily cope with singles, maybe struggle a little at peak times but in the middle of the day ect. I think B7s are almost sufficient for it

241 I agree. 140, it is worth putting Tridents on. As an example, it only takes a couple of 9's to be late and you can be reasonably full.

Yes, you get the same with the Coventry Road services; it just takes one 60 to go missing or run late, then everyone piles onto the 58 or 59 and you end up with a rammed single decker.
