Is there really much need to post these? Tridents are obviously second choice type for the 9 if an MMC is not avaliable. Spare MMC's are usually used on the 140/141/241 circuit. Being a Saturday service, there is bound to be several of MMC's on here. Much of the posts on this thread are either reports of Tridents and B7's on the 9 or MMC's and B7's on the 140/1/241

1699 the one that had a major rebuild after accident damage some years ago (c.2008) Perhaps not surprising it'll be one of the [if not the] last.

Lots of merry hill services could face major disruption at times from January 11th through until June. The A4036 junctions with The Boulevard and Coppice Lane (and later with mount pleasant and high street) are all being resurfaced and traffic signals upgraded in a major project. There is an article online on the express and star website about it recently. Doubt any diversions etc will be needed but temporary traffic lights will inevitably cause problems. apprently local bus shelters will also be upgraded. However the article says that the new traffic lights will improve journey times. Not sure how this will be managed unless bus lanes are installed (which there is no room for and has not been mentioned). Hopefully however they will have newer smarter technology that at least detects when possible lanes where any traffic is so unnecessary waiting is cut whilst lights aren't on green for where there is no traffic (which would only work early and late anyway).

Nonetheless, some considerable disruption at times is possible. This is the first major upgrade here since the junction was first re designed way back in 1999.

yeah a very major front end rebuild I did follow its rebuild here at west brom,  there are pictures on the net some where , the roof was replaced as far back as the side destination blind, I did get to drive it after the rebuild it never felt right to me I hated it. IMO should have been broken for spares.

No why would PN get any Presidents they don't and have never operated the type. The Presidents will be withdrawn soon anyway so I think its unlikely.

@Trident 4194 January is coming yes. But Wright factory might be shut down for Christmas and New Year? So maybe mid janaury to end who knows. It comes when it comes
