@Dom, wouldn't class Tridents on the 9 as noteworthy, each week you see them on there as there aren't enough branded E400s for the service.

I think NE bought the buses for the 9 with Sprint in mind, if Sprint does ever begin, then the 9 isn't going to need a 8 minute frequency, more like 12/15 minutes.

Sprint is only for the Hagley Road at first and the 9 covers a lot more than just the hagley road so why should the rest of the route suffer which is almost as if not as busy as Hagley Road

Well I can see your point, but with only 6101 - 15 branded for the 9 and the rest of the E400 MMCs to be used on other routes, it doesn't make sense. There are more than 15 boards for the 9 so more E400MMcs are needed.

With the 9, off peak the stretch between Stourbridge and Halesowen isn't anywhere near as busy as between Halesowen and Birmingham. so when Sprint comes it will reduce demand on the 9 and there are other options between Quinton and Halesowen, so the 9 will definitely take a cut.

However it is all dependant on Sprint and that all has gone very quiet.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Yes but on a Sunday the ones not branded for the 9 can be used on other routes

@Stuharris 6360 I think it is made rare now due to there being a 9 Branded on the 140/141/241 circuit

The Merc on the 297 was taken off mid morning due to a large engine issue. Wonder if it will see service again.

Do hope they have informed WMFS that the Mercs are about again, would hate for them to be caught out!

A good few of the fire engines local to PE were busy dealing with a fire in Kidderminster today! Good job no Mercs caught alight! Lol.

Before the Optare Solo were withdrawn last year
There was a PB Solo that didn't have the destination display in it either
