With the 29 new buses coming, do people think the remaining e400 work on the 140/141/241 or 246. There 22 mercs in service (counted on the fleet list on main site) will the new 7 e200s see off 7 mercs

pensnett drivers drove west brom buses when they was short of drivers on the 87 a few years back

There are actually 27 Mercs still in active service at Pensnett (double checked on the main site), I think you've missed counting 1704-1707 & 1743

Mercs were good/reliable vehicles up until the past couple of years. There has been the spate of fires and the remainder are now corroding badly, some are better than others.

I expect the 7 E200's will directly replace Mercs on the 243/244, I would guess cascaded Tridents will replace the remainder possibly from BC

WN may lose 1/2 Tridents to PE when the ML1 Metro replacement finishes at the end of March. Or B6s may be withdrawn from WN. I don't think WN needs more deckers though.

@NXWM Spectra, tbh its the other way around. WN need all the tridents they have on the road judging by the amount of Spectra's and single decks appearing on the main routes such as the 59, 79 and 126; 4606 being off the road and 4310 going to PE hasn't helped.

Considering WN are set to recieve more Tridents in April (to replace Spectra's so i'm told) i can't see any more transferring out.

Does 1643 still have the  back window  black in the corners at the back of the bus also is that classed as Corrison ?

1631 has a tyre (nearside rear) that is bald on the outer part, how often are these things checked?
