There were a number of Enviros on the 140/1/241, surely they could have used those on the 120.

And 4135 & 4353 both on the 9

Allocation just seems to be random at Pensnett. Branded 222s end up on every other service while mercs are squeezing through nanny goat farm, branded x96 also crop up here there and everywhere, it will be interesting to see how long the new enviros stay on the 9 service, I dare say you will find one picking its way round the 222 or 53 routes before long!! May be a good idea just to de brand their busses so they are less out of place or indeed confusing to the people who abuse, I'm sorry use the busses!!

Very good point, interesting that Merry Hill and Dudley drivers are to be trained on them.

Personally i hope they are branded for the 9 which should prevent them being used on other routes in theory!

In theory only if the 222 and x96 branding is to go by.only last week a branded 2 was on the 141of all routes!!  Digressing slightly, 6 buss es were taken out of service up to Thursday evening with various issues and there were no engineers to rectify these problems so I suppose it does limit resources somewhat and whatever buss es end up wherever. E driverless 141 trident was reallocated to the 289 service because the merc that was running the service came in soiled and unserviceable so like I say I suppose those responsible for vehicle allocation have to think on their feet and improvise. Other garages seem to manage their branded busses better though!!

A decker is a decker, does it really matter if its a Trident or Enviro? Can't see why go out of your way to allocate one type over the other ?

Very funny Tony. It was a simple question. Yes I prefer Enviros to Tridents  but as an allocator I would see no reason to distinguish between the two if the majority are going out in service

I'd rather have a decent trident (4135) over a struggling enviro.
