How come pensnett keep getting Mercs in replacement, why can't it be a b6 I'm sure one of them could be reinstated, and they look a lot more presentable than the Mercs. I'm sure b6 will last longer than mercs

Think it's because NE have tried to concentrate Mercs at PE and WB and B6s at WN, however i would prefer the B6s to be at PE. Considering the amount of B6s that PE used to have, it is sad that they no longer have any.

The Mercs are on borrowed time & are unlikely to see this year out. The extra Merc in to PN is a short term measure until this years orders arrive & free up cascades

The Mercs are on borrowed time & are unlikely to see this year out. The extra Merc in to PN is a short term measure until this years orders arrive & free up cascades

Think the Mercs have been on borrowed time for quite a while, even before they ever came to PE. Several garages used them to extremes and think they suffered after that, Why WB made the 74 into a single deck service when it had always been a popular route and Mercs struggled to cope with the route and passenger numbers.

Can't understand why a trident was on the 289 on Thursday, passenger numbers do not warrant a decker.

Maybe that the B7rles were next out of garage at the time or maybe NE were trying to keep the newer buses away from Dudley?

Sat allocation for 53 is B7 as is 289. 2 x e400 allocated to 120 to free up B7 to for mentioned services. However there is a reduced number of e400. So technically the tridents on the 120 are rare as should be e400 but this is impossible to do with current numbers

There were a number of Enviros on the 140/1/241, surely they could have used those on the 120.
