If Perry Barr are having 11 of Pensnett's Enviro 400s as stated in the PB comments what is replacing them, or have I missed something?

You missed Tony saying that is incorrect
Possibly Tridents for 4820-9, just have to wait and see..
22 new buses for the 9,deliveries stating end of Feb

Is the 276 still not capable of having deckers due to those low hanging trees?

I think it more of a case of PN not having enough deckers since the 140/141/241 all became double decker operated

That what my thoughts were therefore, coming onto my next point, Will the 276 be able to be upgraded back to Double Deck operation?
But surely there would have been an unusual working of one on the 276 by now but there never seems to be one. Surely if they end up on the 205/297 in the recent past one must have ended up on the 276 but I haven't seen one. Maybe trees are still an issue?

Have said before that the X96 & 276 should really swap routes around Norton & Wollaston. The reasons for this are:

1. Deckers could be used on the 276 once again (needed between Dudley & Stourbridge).

2. Buses on the X96 would get a break at Wollaston Junction, whilst on current route they get very little break.

3. No links would be lost,eg: customers from Wollaston Farm & Norton would get direct links to Merry Hill & Dudley!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Forgot to mention that these new E400's will be in the two-tone 'crimson' livery.

Where have you heard this??

Would be interesting "if" it's true, more new buses to clock up heavy mileages.

@979 where is the source of your information... It would seem logical if pensnett are suffering a DD shortage, cascade the 09 Enviros onto some Dudley local routes, certainly be an interesting few months
Danny :) proud swift, mango and oyster user...

My locals 12, 12A, 13, 22, 126, and the sixes every weekend :)

If PN get new buses, am sure the 09 Enviros will move to another garage!

Not sure if there is a DD shortage at PN

Yes, the Directors confirmed today that the first new buses to arrive this year would be 22 Enviro 400MMCs for Pensnett and the 9 starting at the end of February.
All the remaining 48xx will be moving to Perry Barr for the 16 & 101

They get to keep the old Tridents :3! This is a suggestion, because of the transfer of the 48xx buses, it would be great if the Bordesley garage can have an extension and a raise in height so the Volvo Alexander types from PB can go on the 8. I think PB will have enough buses after the transfer.

Are the new buses just for the 9?
33 Asda Queslett via Perry Barr, Kingstanding, Pheasey
7 Sutton Coldfield via Witton, Perry Common, Boldmere

Why would NX decide to extend BY and rise the height in the garage?! No problem with the Scanias at BY and would be an expensive move. I expect the Volvos displaced off the 16 and 101 will be used to replace the Bendi Buses. The freed up Volvos may mean that some PB Geminis may be freed up to go to AG - therefore allowing some Presidents to be withdrawn/go to Dundee.

Supposed to be, but am sure it won't take long for them to interlope on another route!

Very true @Liberator9 and the fact is BY have managed for so long until now so why suddenly decide to move

Why are the 16 & 101 having the PE enviros?
Not sure probably to replace gems or tridents
