I'm back from serving my lengthy ban...

Couple of weeks ago I went into office in Birmingham but the number 9 I went on went On a rather bizarre diversion from five ways into the centre- following on down the dual carriageway down to Spring Hill and then following the 82 route into city. It even picked up at the 82/87 stop. I didn't see any reason for it to do this?

Do they operate a flexi route upon entering to city centre nowadays?

No it is not 'flexi-route'. Depending on when this was, there was probably some temporary diversion in place, these things do happen from time to time you know.

Comes out by the old Tesco at Five Ways and runs along Grosvenor Street West, Sheepcote Street, then past Arena Birmingham and back of the library normally

It might have been the day a car drove into the front of 4759 so all Hagley road buses had to divert that way
