4429 wasn't allocated to the 9, it was returned to the garage this morning while it was on the 129. It then replaced a broken down bus on the 9. I mean why bother replacing the bus, in future if a bus breaks down we'll just leave the service without a bus.

There were 3 streetdecks on the 9 3305, 3302 & 3303.

We were struggling for buses this morning which is the explanation for the 'messed up allocation'

I wasn't moaning about travelling on a trident on the 9 and B7RLE on the 9. As I stated it makes a change from the crap mmcs, which didn't seem to have a good day yesterday with 6101 and 6114 both braking down. I was more amazed to see 6712 on the 246 in Stourbridge. B7RLES really are the best buses about- hardly any rattles smooth and fast.

2 120 bus drivers stopped in the middle of the road, just like old times ay, they did piss off the surrounding traffic though as the one going to dudley held up quite a lot, but i respect that they ignored them and helped the driver out by giving him directions, i like the atmosphere that drivers give off to be honest, helping one another around island.

Thought e200s common on 246?

I wouldn't say they're common. The only buses I'd consider actually common on there are the Tridents, Street Decks and MMC's, with an odd B7RLE at times.

Any views/comments are my own and do not reflect those of my employer.

So everything else PN own bar E200s  ;)

Don't know if it's been mentioned but a blue halo e400 (West Bromwich one I think) on 246

9s messes up 6110 and 6115 turn up together both go and change drivers. Probably about 70-80 people waiting. 6115 carries onto Brum without stopping in bus station. 6110 leaves people behind as it's so full. Not another 9 for a quite while. Crap service again. Please someone come and compete on the Stourbridge- Halesowen section. I understand timetable and all that but seriously where's the inspector when you need him?

If its that bad between Stourbridge and Halesowen it's only a matter of time before a 9E service could be introduced to solve matters, plenty of other corridors do it 74E eg

I honestly don't understand why they haven't done this. They seem keen enough to split routes in 2 any other time. Look at the 99. Now the 98 and 244. Even a every 15 minute Halesowen- Stourbridge frequency and a every 7/8 minute normal 9 service would be more beneficial as at least could rely on there not being a massive gap in frequency

4432 certainly looks different!
