What I found really funny whilst waiting for the 244(1707) this morning was 2 girls who immediately recognised the merc and cheered "yes it's an old one". Then two stops later they were moaning about it being too slow. I never thought I would say this but I actually miss mercs on the 243/244, maybe if there were volvos I wouldn't care as much

4818 still soldering on at Pensnett. Saw it at Snow Hill this afternoon heading round to Lancaster Circus to park up before starting a PM peak service

This happened on Tuesday too. Is this a sign of reducing mercs in the fleet or is there a usual bus out of service right now? Or is this a new permanent running board?

E400 mmc on the 53 this afternoon.

Also this morning around 11.30, saw an x96 use the
Boulevard and then merry hill/pedmore road to head towards Dudley??? Any idea why it would have gone this way?

4202 on late evening X96, saw it twice, once with nobody on, next time with two people on.

Seems a bit of a waste to have a diesel guzzling Trident on there on a Sunday evening?

4818 parked up with hazard warning lights flashing and out of service in Stourbridge Road at 1015 hrs this morning.  I assume that it had been on the 246 heading towards Dudley. 

Incidentally, 4431 and 4432 were running together this morning with 4431 following 4432 along Brierley Hill High Street at 1000 hrs heading towards Dudley.
