Will take more than a couple of weeks to sort it out if they decided to. Saying that, interesting it hasn't been withdrawn yet! Presumably it still has some book value, so they are considering it future.

As Karl said, other deckers require engines, so 4341s engine would go there first (if a Trident requires a new engine).

4355s damage is fairly significant, probably a new engine is the least of its worries. As i said earlier, NE are possible considering it, but don't be overly surprised if it gets withdrawn. Many new buses are due over the next year or so, so 4355 won't really be missed. Probably will win a temporary reprieve for another bus that is all.

Out of interest are trees in Norton still preventing double deckers being used on the 276 these days - some pretty cramped services seen recently especially with christmas shoppers at Merry Hill.
