I'd say that YW could possibly be the first garage to lose all Tridents, eventually, over E400's. For reasons of which will become apparent.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

I'm expecting YW will receive a new batch of E400's for the 50 out of the 300 new buses due, and I'd be surprised if the 50 wasn't upgraded to a 'gold corridor'

Wouldn't the Presidents be more of a Priority to transfer out of Yardley Wood?

In theory, but there are only certain garages which could now take them due to the restrictions emission in B'ham City Centre

I wasn't either. Will make a change from all Y-TOH registrations at Pensnett

Given the trend for sequential numbering I'm wondering whether at least 4333 - 4348 might move? Sending a group out of the middle of YW's batch would otherwise buck the trend.

I was hoping for 44** or 46** ZFs from Central, they would've added more variety than just more Voiths

I was thinking that the batch may run the other way & go past 4348 up to 4353, YW would then be getting rid of a number of non refurb'd TWM liveried examples / early NX repaint & non refurb'd (4346) & a NX vinyl wrap (4351). Although PN would have to put them through refurb, at least they would be freshly done

You could be right there, I'd forgotten about the YW batch being broken at that point by BC having 4364 to 4368.

I'm just working on the basis that YW may push to loose a particular batch where the bulk are none refurb'd  & YW's refurb budget has been spent in the main on buses that will remain at YW

That's probably the exact reason why they wouldn't get transferred to PN, looks as though PN is standardizing on Voiths

Count yourself lucky you're getting voith ones! I just hope 4362 doesn't go :(
