Don't think they would be branded nathan. 4880-4 could be though

I think 4880-4884 will be branded hence why there is no NXWM Logo's on the Front or Rear :)

4503-07 and some 47xx Geminis both had the green Dudley Road branding (different liveries mind)

The branded Mercs were for the 89, the 80 was double deck at this time, and only served a small portion of the Dudley Road. 1526 was used exclusively on the 83/89 before its withdrawal

Looking at the back of the branding on 4880 in front of me at the lights I can't help but think NX seem to be in competition with themselves. The branding states "fast to the city centre from Pheasey (934&936) Streetly (935) Aldridge and Brownhills (936)" no mention of the 997 which I would say is just as fast and serves 3 of the 4 places mentioned.
I also find it a bit strange the 997 still has completely different branding to anything
