No information about the changes anywhere on the bus stops. One of the posters still dates from 2023. Definitely needs to be a improvement by WMCA and NX on how information is shared to passengers.
A similar situation this morning when a large group of students were waiting for their usual 15 bus from Penn to Wombourne. The timetable and stop still has 15 on it and to cap it all the 16 due 0826 arrived 10 minutes late according to bustimes.org,

Quote from: BlackCountryBusSpotter on June 02, 2025, 09:57:45 AMI honestly hate people who moan about Bus Changes they usually don't use them as passengers who do will know the changes in advance and plan likewise for example the occasional time I Caught the 40 from Willenhall/Lodge Farm to Wolverhampton I knew it was going so I either walked to Willenhall Maccies or caught the 41/37 to Willenhall and caught the 529. Passengers who get these routes won't notice much difference to there journey, I'm convinced people moan when they lose a Bus service from there road cus there convinced it affects there house price having a bus right outside rather than 1-3 minutes away which 90% of times is better than most of the country especially the Countryside and Rural areas.
Sorry but what has any of that to do with the service changes that ARE affecting people?

And if you was directing your silly comments to my posts then I suggest you come and see the issues the 48 has caused, or the complete mess around Streetly and surrounding areas!

And these are the lot who will be in charge of all the bus services going forward....

I know people will disagree with me on the 48, but it has a few minutes standing at UNI stops, surely they could move the timing point and serve the interchange? How many extra minutes will it add?

I know people will just say "it's a 2 minute walk" but elderly or people with disabilities may struggle with that. That's why having the bus serve the interchange makes life easier!

If And Idk but they also mention it on Property shows your house is on a bus route it is deemed to have local amenities a Bus if it isn't then they don't mention it unless it's a short walk from a train station or something. But the people who moan mostly are the same sort of people who moan that a Pub is closing or that the Libary is closing these people are suddenly outraged that a bus route is going it isn't it is being renumbered the 48 is different so it wasn't targeted. But the 934/935 is being renumbered and rerouted slightly and is being coveted by another route, these people moan at it going, but clearly it wasn't making money so they weren't using it Passengers who actually get the routes will moan or they will deal with it and get it from it's new route, in the case of the 936 nothing has really changed, people moan about things being cut but for years it has been a case of use it or lose it a couple of years ago the WN 15/16 was undergoing changes and all the people of Himley went mad, you saw them on the news stood by the bus stop protesting and the bus did stop, when they cut to the reporter live or did another film in that area maybe about a crash there was no one there and no one at the bus stop and this was about 13:30 in the afternoon, so surely if people used the route it wouldn't need to be changed. Or they moan it takes to long so NX change it to be quicker and they then moan it Misses that section but they wanted it be quicker. The 48 and that area they are constantly messing with so I would be annoyed to.

The same thing is happening in Bearwood, saw loads of people waiting for the 48A today.

100% agree.

Just seen 2125 on the 934, should be 936 of course. The bus stop on Albert Street hasn't been changed either.

Oh that's nothing it's only Monday. We were still getting 55s on the 95 route for a couple of months! The flags were changed on time though!

There are no bus stop changes at Perry Barr interchange either

So I got to drive the X20, what a lovely route that is to drive. Did the 15:05 from city, as I expected I caught up to the X21 infront as there was no one at the stops. People along Swarthmore road seemed to prefer to wait for the 46/46A instead of the X20, guessing they don't know we go the same way. Coming up bell hill there was a lot of traffic, which wasn't accounted for in the timetable it'd seem. Lovely drop back time in Bromsgrove, so left on time - noticed a lot of people getting on at Rubery and Longbridge guessing there was a large gap in the 63 as when I turned left at Northfield to go down Bell Hill, I had quite a few upset passengers onboard that got off straight away.

My only complaint with the X20 is that it doesn't work well with the X21/X22 timetable coming into City, hopefully that gets sorted out eventually.

isn't the X20 faster than the 63 between longbridge and birmingham, or was that only the old one?
local routes:
45 - Birmingham to Longbridge
47 - Birmingham to Longbridge
49 - Solihull to Rubery Great Park
63 - Birmingham to Frankley
X20 - Birmingham to Rednal/Bromsgrove

+ 19, 55, 145, 145A, 182, 183, 202

At around 5pm, the time I was driving the X20 is 3 minutes longer. although it does feel a lot longer than the simple straight route of the 63.
