This popped up on Youtube recently, a 3-part video that includes aBBC Midlands Today report behind the scenes at Midland Fox, Wigston Depot and corporate video combined:

We wouldn't have seen this over in the 'West Midlands', as they would've had a fully split programme from Nottingham by this point!

(The programme captions read 'East Midlands Today' rather than 'Midlands Today'!)

The report was completed by the then BBC in the Midlands regional news team based at Pebble Mill. It was then passed to all of the BBC regional news feeds and taken by EMT in Nottingham, though it was shown on BBC2 in by WMT.
