Not going to be in service until next year, as they want to use the 3 older solos as much as possible (YF02SKO, CE52UXF & YN03NDK) before the Euro 6 restrictions come into place next year.

Whilst they may have plenty of life left in them, they can't be used without being upgraded to meet the euro 6 standards that come into force in Wolverhampton next year, which is what I said in my original post.  Where I get my info from is irrelevant.  The fact still remains that the new enviros won't see the road until next year.

I have seen one doing the stourbridge junction to town peak runnings to help the little train.

Yes, it does the Shuttles in the morning/evening and does a lunchtime trip on the 891 in between.  YD63UZY has had a brief stint on there too.

Presume NX 43XX Tridents aren't compliant with that. Might see them reallocated elsewhere then maybe? Are all of the 45XX compliant?

Both 2010 solos are compliant AFAIK.  If not already, both 2005 solos will be trapped as i'm fairly sure they're staying in the fleet.  Bearing in mind, most of the enviros had to be trapped before they went into service.

I know that there are definitely tridents at WN trapped, but not sure which ones/if all of them are.

MX10KNO definitely had to be trapped.

It doesn't sound like it's been done whereas the 61 plates you can definitely tell as they are a lot slower and sound different

Well it is it's like the same with the hybrid e400s on the 1 route now they've been done they sound completely different almost brand new

That's because they've had a brand new diesel engine fitted!
