It doesn't go anywhere that I particularly fancy visiting and has been full of chavs on the odd occasion I've given it a try in the past

Well it's hardly ever got 'chavs' on there is never anything wrong with the 82. You don't use it every day and expreience it every day. The only time there could be 'chavs' as you put it on is when the schools finish even then 2-3 people.
