Some of the E200s will have to go to have their seats reinstalled from when they were removed to make additional wheelchair spaces i believe

NX E400 coming into the City from Perry Barr direction displaying Birmingham 2022 today.
Was on 4898 so didn't get the fleetnumber. From Bus Times look like it was 4809 on the 51.
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

It would have displayed something like "Birmingham 2022 Standby Vehicle"

Quote from: the trainbasher on August 07, 2022, 01:02:06 AMThanet have had some loans from SC East (ex Dover E300s) to cover for some of the loans to Midlands

Plus iirc Stagecoach has a "reserve fleet" of older buses for stuff to cover for things like this, the gold Cup etc
Related to this,South Wales loaned four Enviro midis to Eastbourne.
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

The 60 reseated E200MMCs are all at Alexnader Dennis to revert back to normal

Thanks Tony for the info . I noted 18 various Stagecoach buses heading south on the M5 around Tuesday lunchtime.   Mostly d/d's from Devon.

Among the Stagecoach vehicles brought in were a number of Mercedes Sprinter minibuses. Did anyone identify what these were used for, please?

Driver shuttles perhaps?

Tony

QuoteDriver shuttles perhaps?
No, they used deckers for those, I think it was some specialist journeys for athletes & staff

My attention was elsewhere during the Games (I only took 44 pics in total, all from a solitary visit to the Erdington compound on the 23rd). 44008 was on route learning duties, both this one & 44003 still carried Stagecoach idents.

They all had Stagecoach names covered during the games, here's 44003 http://wmbusphotos.com/Stagecoach/40000/44003.html

Fair enough. I only managed two E400's at Stonebridge Island, having eschewed chasing games transports to successfully shift that Monkey that I mentioned on 3225.

Those two Breadvans I mentioned (44003/8) were the only two present still showing Stagecoach idents, 44027 had already been dealt with.

At least 2 were needed for an Athletes shuttle from Birmingham Uni to King Edwards School just off the Bristol Road, running every 30 minutes.
