I haven't seen any single deckers on the 31/31A since the departure of the B10Ls. I would have thought we'd see some Eclipses on there but obviously not. Having said that, 23 Eclipses replaced 25 B10Ls, so those two workings might just be operated by double deckers now.

Not necessarily, it may be that fewer spares are required now the B10Ls have been replaced with brand new buses

Unidentified Scania Omnilink on the 31A seen in AG village at 15:30ish heading for the City.

It was 7019 on the 31/31A yesterday, saw it passing my house a few times!  I've seen a couple of Omnilinks on the 31 recently, as well as the 5. And last week I'm pretty sure there was an Urban on the 31 too (first time I ever saw one!).

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Bet that was a fun journey for anyone on board!  ;D

Someone on the NXWM Facebook page claims they saw a Walsall Omnilink on the 128 one morning last week, WB must be short of buses or something!

I don't think so, if Walsall were to loan WB a bus it would be a B6 or Gemini to make sure drivers could actually drive it, remember Walsall are having to borrow Omnilinks in at the moment!

4766 or any other leather seated Enviro on the X51 is definately not a rare working. It is booked for a mix of Enviros & Geminis

Don't worry, I found it hard to believe myself, but WB did operate Omnilinks previously, and this certain guy did state that it was 1883 showing 128 at 7:12am on Friday. Unless he was very much mistaken!  ;D

Of course, a certain 'someone' over there then suggested that (following also the transfer of 1908 to PE) Walsall are giving away singlde deckers... I bit my tongue so hard, it bled.  :P

7:12am! no, at that time it would be on the allocation sheets that come through to Miller Street

MW

4046 on the 73 today. Quite exceptionally rare, considering there's only three of them left in the branding for the one! Looked very odd because Solihull is all NXWM livery now with the odd TWM's. No toothpaste livery!

This shows Walsall are in need of omnilinks as a b6le (fleet number 650) is working the 404 tonight rare as the 404 is normally omnilinks and the odd eclipse.

Ashley

Its noe just me but 650 looks like its had the paintwork tarted up as well as in the interior floor, any reason for it
